SYNOPSIS
I need you to understand something. I wrote this for you. I wrote this for you and only you. Everyone else who reads it, doesn’t get it. They may think they get it, but they don’t. This is the sign you’ve been looking for. You were meant to read these words.

REVIEW
There's probably one introductory thing that I should impart to you right away—and it's that only few pieces of literature tug on my heartstrings. And this beautifully-written masterpiece was one of them.

The problem with having to write reviews for great books such as this one is that I don't know how to deal with the influx of emotions that comes with just the thought of the book. I'm rarely an emotional person, trust me. The closest to me expressing what I feel inside is me using emojis. Really. Anyway, another problem is verbalizing. There's just so much in your head, but when you face your computer, ready to write a review, nothing comes. You just stare at the blank page. Agree?

I really, really don't know what to say of this book. And that happens rarely because I'm such a talkative person—I always have something to say even if i'm not asked to say anything. As I'm trying to write, I always end up erasing the page because at the back of my head, a tiny voice is saying that I'm not doing this book any justice. But here I am, with more than two paragraphs because I decided to try anyway. To try because this piece of literature deserves to be known.

Remember having to read a long ass book for a class? Having to analyze every little detail and ending up not enjoying the book? Well, I have and it is not fun. At all. But imagine this: a book with so much detail yet so little words. A book so short yet so full of substance. A book you don't have to analyze because all the things you read are what's important. What matters.

The author's style is so original, so new, so different. He made use of words that invoke something that you have buried, so that you don't have to cry because of the plot, but because of the emotions that you have longed to forget.

I Wrote This For You is a book that you can't describe to another person. You just have to ask them to read it themselves because your words alone cannot convey the sadness between the pages and because every person has a different "You" they'll have in mind as they read this.
